Audiology

In the United States, 1 in every 5 people have some degree of hearing loss. If you think you might be one of them, come visit our state-of-the-art audiology booth for an exam at 911 State Street in New Haven. We can assist you in obtaining hearing aids. 

Dermatology

Rash? Acne? Concerns about skin cancer? Our dermatologists diagnose and treat conditions related to the skin, hair, and nails. They also provide skin cancer screenings and education on how to keep your skin healthy. We also offer pediatric dermatology care. Eye Clinic/Ophthalmology

When was the last time you had your eyes checked? Don’t wait any longer. Many eye diseases don’t have any symptoms. Our highly qualified eye specialists at 400 Columbus Avenue in New Haven offer general eye exams, as well as specialized services, including neuro-ophthalmology, glaucoma and pediatrics. Our staff also can evaluate diabetics for retinopathy.

Gastroenterology

Podiatry

Do you have diabetes? Or just trouble with your feet? Our podiatrists are here to make sure your feet are healthy and to help you with any foot problems that you may have. Our podiatrists provide routine foot care to all patients seeking treatment as well as specialized diabetic foot care. Treatment is also available for other common podiatric conditions including athlete’s foot, bunions, heel spurs and ingrown toenails.  We offer podiatry services at the following locations:  410 Campbell Avenue in West Haven, 121 Wakelee Avenue in Ansonia, and 428 Columbus Avenue, 197 Dixwell Avenue, and 150 Sargent Drive in New Haven.

Rheumatology

  • Is Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center a free clinic?

    No, we are not a free clinic. We provide healthcare services for a fee. However, because we are a Federally Qualified Health Center, we are able to offer reduced rates to people without insurance as long as they qualify based on income and family size.

  • How much do your services cost?

    Costs will vary based on your specific situation. We accept all insurance including Medicare, Medicaid (Title 19), HUSKY, Charter Oak, and most commercial insurance plans. For anyone without health insurance, we offer services on a sliding-fee scale, which means you pay only what you can. We also can provide assistance with access to State support and services.

  • How can I obtain my medical records?

    Release of information requests are processed by Ramona Fain and Francheska Cantey. Francheska handles all patients that falls between A-M and Ramona N-Z. Ramona can be reached at 203-503-3140 and Francheska at 203-503-3236.
