Why the Location Change?

The Recovery and Wellness Center (RWC) was first imagined almost 10 years ago as a replacement facility for our Grant Street Partnership program, (GSP). Now realized, The Recovery and Wellness Center will continue to respond to the ongoing need for comprehensive behavioral and addiction services in the greater New Haven area, where overdose rates have continued to be of concern.

The new facility has expanded space for men and women and will offer a safe and short-term therapeutic living environment with onsite fully integrated services including primary care and specialties, addiction medicine, recovery yoga, meditation, acudetox, care coordination and support. The Recovery and Wellness Center (RWC) aims to interrupt the cycle of addiction, improve health and wellness and create lasting change in the lives of the individuals and families we serve. We will continue our mission and history of collaboration, compassion and innovation
