After 10 years of project planning, it's been announced that the Cornell Scott Hill Health Recovery and Wellness Center project will be receiving $650k in federal funding. This money will be put towards the construction of the facility, which the city expects to be completed by the end of 2023. 

Once it's finished, the building will act as a recovery space, housing those with substance abuse and mental health disorders. It will include 52 beds and multiple spaces for therapy sessions.

This center will be located on Minor Street alongside Cornell Scott Hill's South Central Rehab Center in New Haven, Connecticut.
