Meet Robin Moody-Davis

Community Outreach Manager

Making a difference in the lives of others is the motivating factor of Robin Moody-Davis, Community Outreach Manager at Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center (CS-HHC). Robin has an intense love of community and has devoted the past ten years to serving the community and providing essential medical care and resources. As a personable, organized, and resourceful community liaison, Robin is instrumental in developing strategic relationships, expanding community partnerships, and coordinating organizational participation in community outreach events.

As a masterful communicator, Robin is a steadfast and compassionate community advocate, eagerly identifying and sharing vital information and resources with members throughout the community. She is a natural teacher who enriches the lives of others through compassion, love, and respect. Receiving the Humanitarian award in 7th grade solidified Robin’s intrinsic passion for helping others, a trait that comes effortlessly to her.

Beginning her CS-HHC career as a Case Manager for addiction services, Robin has consistently prioritized community impact by connecting community members with necessary services, effectively bridging the gap for those not engaged with the healthcare system. She also initiated a highly impactful art therapy class at CS-HHC’s Grant Street Partnership site to provide clients with a creative coping mechanism while gaining new skills, including soapmaking, recovery jewelry, bookmarks, hand and foot scrubs, calendars, greeting cards, and ice cream. The art class achieved remarkable success, lasting over two years and drawing participants who chose to join voluntarily, beyond their obligatory sessions.

Robin’s passion for creativity extends outside of her role at CS-HHC and into her personal business, Molo, representing “more love.” Through Molo, Robin creates diverse crafts, including soaps, oils, handmade masks, and merchandise like t-shirts. Over six years, she has built a loyal customer base who are captivated by her alluring scents, including enticing varieties like coconut and chocolate.

With a commitment to community involvement, Robin served on the Joanne Pearson political campaign and was a political campaign general volunteer for Barack Obama. She also began her tenure with the Elm City Nation Community Youth Group, formed to combat violence in the New Haven community, in general membership. She advanced to serving on the Executive Board.

Robin studied Liberal Arts and Journalism at Southern Connecticut State University (SCSU).
