The inaugural Board of Directors for the newly established Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center Foundation includes leaders from throughout Greater New Haven, Board Chair LindyLee Gold and President Michael R. Taylor announced today.
“We are absolutely thrilled to have such outstanding leaders in our community step up to play a pivotal role in getting the Foundation underway,” said Gold. “Their immense individual and collective connections across the community will be tremendous assets in sharing news of the Foundation and the impressive breadth of health care services that Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center (CS-HHC) expertly provides.”
“We are very grateful to each of these outstanding leaders for their commitment to serving the community and helping us to respond to the escalating need for quality health care services across the board,” said Taylor. “That includes medical, behavioral health, dental and pediatric services, and I am energized by the role the Foundation Board members will play in support of our efforts.”
The establishment this month of the Cornell Scott-Hill Health Center Foundation comes as public interest in supporting the range of health care services being provided has been growing, recognizing the escalating need in New Haven and throughout the region. During fiscal year 2022, which ended June 30, CS-HHC exceeded 400,000 patient visits.
Named to the Cornell Scott Hill Health Center Foundation Board of Directors are Paul McCraven, who will serve as Vice Chair; Gladys Soto, who will serve as Secretary; Joshua Bird, who will serve as Treasurer; and Andrea Lobo who will be a Director serving on the new Board. Each member of the Board will initially serve a one-year term, and is eligible for a three-year re-appointment. Additional appointments may be made later this year.
